This privacy policy describes how Sontech International AB processes your Personal Data.
Personal Data is all forms of data that in a direct or indirect way can be attributed to a physical person. Processing of Personal Data can be either automated or manual, and typical examples include collection, registration, organization, structuring, storing, transferring and deleting.
Who is responsible for the processing of your Personal Data?

What Personal Data do we collect and when?
Sontech International collects Personal Data that you have provided to us, such as contact data, payment data and historical data, and/or data which is otherwise necessary for us to fulfill our obligations towards you. We also collect and store Personal Data about potential customers that might be interested in the products and services that we offer. Personal Data is only collected when it is relevant for the purpose of its initial collection.
You can provide Sontech International with Personal Data when making purchases, subscribing to newsletters, contacting us via telephone, web forms or e-mail, taking part in visits by sales agents, etc.
In order to give you a relevant user experience when visiting our websites we may collect certain data about your visit. This may include which links are clicked and what kind of products you show interest in following your visit to product pages.
To determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and advertising we may collect data about your usage of our marketing e-mails. This includes data if an e-mail is opened, which links are clicked and what kind of information you show interest in.

Why do we collect and process your Personal Data?
Your Personal Data is processed by Sontech International for the purpose of:

Sontech International may use the Personal Data you provide to conduct marketing activities. To provide you with relevant content in marketing activities we may use data such as: customer segment, historical purchases, data based your visits at our websites and usages of our e-marketing services, preferences you have shared and participation in past marketing activities.

We may process your Personal Data as listed above to conduct marketing activities including some or all of the following:

How long do we hold your Personal Data?
Your Personal Data is stored no longer than necessary for fulfilling the purpose of its initial collection.
Personal Data about previous customers are deleted one year after the customer relationship has ended. If we need to fulfill potential guarantee commitments, it might however be necessary for us to keep your Personal Data until the guarantee has expired.
Prospects and leads are deleted three years after the Personal Data was collected, unless legal obligations states other.
Recipients of newsletters are deleted upon unregistration.
Participants at events are deleted one year after the event.
How is your Personal Data processed and stored?
Your Personal Data is handled only by those who need it to carry out their duties to fulfill the purpose of its initial collection. Sontech International may transfer the collected Personal Data to people or companies with whom Sontech International has contracts to carry out internal processes, which may involve transfer to a country outside of the EU. Furthermore, Sontech International may transfer your Personal Data to third parties when such transfers are required by law or court order. Other than set forth above, Sontech International will not transfer your Personal Data to third parties.
Sontech International stores the personal data in our own data protection networks, as well as in the clouds of Google Drive, Dropbox, WiX and MailChimp. Sontech International has ensured that your rights are guaranteed upon transfer to other countries via these cloud services, through their connection to the EU-US Privacy Shield. How is your Personal Data protected?
While Sontech International cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur, rest assured that Sontech International takes great care in maintaining the security of your Personal Data and in preventing unauthorized access to it through the use of appropriate technology and internal procedures.
To ensure that Personal Data is processed in a secure and confidential manner, Sontech International uses data protection networks that are intrusion prevented, including firewall and password protection according to industry standards.
What are your legal rights?
Below is a summary of the rights you have under European data protection legislation. The exercise of these rights is free of charge and you may exercise the rights by submitting a written request to us. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you should have any questions regarding your rights (see contact details in the end of this Privacy Notice).

Note that Sontech International will always make an assessment of a request to exercise a right to determine whether the request is valid. All rights listed below are not absolute and exceptions may apply.
In addition to the rights set forth below, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding Sontech International’s processing of your Personal Data.

Right of access. You are upon request entitled to receive a copy of your Personal Data that Sontech International processes and also to obtain supplementary data about Sontech International’s processing of your Personal Data.
Right to rectification. You have the right to have your Personal Data corrected and/or completed if it is inaccurate and/or incomplete.
Right to erasure. You have the right to request that Sontech International erases your Personal Data without undue delay in the following circumstances:

you withdraw your consent to a processing activity and there is no other legal basis for the processing;

you make a valid objection to the processing of your Personal Data;

Right to restrict processing. You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your Personal Data in the following circumstances:

Right to data portability. Under certain circumstances you have the right to receive the Personal Data concerning you which you have provided to Sontech International in order to transmit these to another service provider if the processing of the Personal Data is based on your consent or the performance of a contract.

General right to object. You have the general right to, at any time, object to the processing of your Personal Data that is based on Sontech International’s legitimate interests. If you object we have to demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds for such processing or that we need the Personal Data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Right to object to direct marketing. You have a right to, at any time, object to the processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. If you do this, Sontech International may no longer process your Personal Data for such purposes.

Sontech International uses cookies without Personal Data to keep statistics about using the web service.
